MECHANISMS |

- Motors are universal type, 1/10 HP, 7500 RPM at rated load with resilient
mountings and sealed, permanently lubricated ball bearings for durability
and rapid drying
- Dynamically balanced blower wheels for vibration-free running
- Model A push button models employ a durable cam-operated timer to
operate dryer for 30 or 40 seconds after activation
- Model XA5 automatic dryers use reflective infrared sensors to detect
hands, initiate and terminate drying
- Model XA5 automatic dryers should not be placed less than 18"
above projections which may interfere with the operation of the automatic
sensor.

SPECIFICATION

Models A, XA5, RA and XRA5 hand dryers shall be manufactured
by World Dryer to include a 1/4" thick cast iron cover. Cover to be
finished with porcelain enamel. Motor shall be of the universal type, 1/10
HP at 7500 RPM. Dryers shall deliver 7300 linear feet of air per minute
(LFM). Hand dryers shall be activated by means of a push button control
device. Automatic dryers shall be activated by means of an infrared emitting/
receiving electronic control device. Timer shall be electro-mechanical,
cam-operated type. Recessed units will include a 16-gauge steel wall-mounting
box. Hand dryers shall be listed under re-examination service of Underwriters'
Laboratories, Inc., and certified by the Canadian Standards Association. |
